Child Public Urination

What's your view on children who can no longer hold their bladder and allowing them to pee outside?  On one occasion the children were allowed to pee beside the house in the yard because the mom did not want to take them inside to the toilet.

Now today we were all in the truck heading to hockey practice and the 5 year old boy announces he has to pee really bad. Once we arrive at the arena the mom allows him to pee next to the truck, in the parking lot! So there he was, a 5 year old peeing even as traffic was driving by.

Personally I feel like this mom is teaching them that it is okay to pee outside,  which is a problem when they are an adult. The reason being is because the person could be given a public urination ticket  or even possibly be charged with indecent exposure, which is a very serious offense.

To be stressed or not to be?

Today was a very stressful day at work.  The reason being was because the momma and the kids where all in a bad mood when I arrived first thing in the morning.  I somehow mentioned today was the 3rd and the mom realized that today was the son's first hockey lesson which just happened to start in a half hour.  I quickly got the 2 kids dressed and organized the hockey bag and got them buckled up in the truck waiting for the mom.  She was running around trying to find her keys and then her phone, we eventually started heading to the arena.  The mom was already stressed out which didn't help when both kids announced that they had to use the bathroom.  We got to the arena and while heading to the restroom noticed the ice area had zero lights on and no ice!  After the kids were done we went to the front desk. They told us that the lessons were at this other arena (which I luckily knew where it was).  We jumped in the truck and headed off, we got to the next arena already 20 minutes late. I'm getting the boy in his skates when the mom notices the cage on the hockey helmet is not on it. She got super mad and ran to the instructor to find out if he could still skate, they allowed him to this time. She called her husband to ask why the cage was removed. His reason was because he could not find the son's bike helmet so he removed the cage so he could wear that helmet while skating. She was not impressed because the screws and everything was missing.
Needless to say the mom was in a bad mood to begin with once all this trouble to get to hockey occurred she had lost her temper.  I tried to get the kids to leave her alone so she could have some peace with herself but it was almost impossible.  Once we got home the kids had drove her to the point where she locked herself in her room for awhile.  I had to leave the day early for an appointment so she was left with them for the afternoon and I hope everyone has survived and they didn't  drive each other crazy any further.

We'll see what tomorrow brings.

My question is for you. How would you have reacted throughout this day? Would you have needed that time by yourself for awhile or would you have tried to not let it get to you?
