What's your view on children who can no longer hold their bladder and allowing them to pee outside? On one occasion the children were allowed to pee beside the house in the yard because the mom did not want to take them inside to the toilet.Now today we were all in the truck heading to hockey practice and the 5 year old boy announces he has to pee really bad. Once we arrive at the arena the mom allows him to pee next to the truck, in the parking lot! So there he was, a 5 year old peeing even as traffic was driving by.
Personally I feel like this mom is teaching them that it is okay to pee outside, which is a problem when they are an adult. The reason being is because the person could be given a public urination ticket or even possibly be charged with indecent exposure, which is a very serious offense.
Wow! Now I know where kids get this habit! When I was in high school some boys would do this like it is a perfectly normal thing to do! I used to think boys were just too lazy to find a washroom..but it is more than that. It is a learned habit and we need to start teaching our kids at a young age about what is or isn't ok to do. And peeing outside isn't something people should get in the habit of. Hopefully the mom will stop teaching this to her kids. And hopefully the kids will learn its not ok and stop doing it.
